Biography

Katy Brewer is a co-owner of Worthington law firm, Wood & Brewer, LLC, which focuses on consumer bankruptcies, debt settlement and student loan solutions. Katy has also served on Worthington City Council since January 2022.

Education

She is a graduate of Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus, Ohio, has a B.A. in Political Science from Wittenberg University and Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School.

Professional Associations and Memberships

Katy is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, serves as the Columbus Bar Association Bankruptcy Committee Chair, and was Past President for the Credit Education Coalition. She served as a Judicial Liaison Member from 2016 to 2018, is Past Secretary on the executive IWIRC committee, and a Past Speaker for the Bankruptcy Law Institute (BLI).

Katy and her husband, Michael (a Thomas Worthington graduate), reside with their two children, Landon and Luna, and their dog, Graham.
